Newborn list for first-time parents

While laying awake after being woken up by our lovely newborn daughter, I was wishing for a checklist with easy links to purchase baby products to share with other parents-to-be. Couldn’t find a new and useful one so I created this. We hope this list serves useful to new parents like us!

Two general recommendations:

  1. Most of these were purchased on Amazon but we felt like some items needed to be tried and tested in the store. So we went to stores like Babies”R”Us, selected the product and if the price was cheaper on Amazon, requested them to price-match and walked away with a good price and peace of mind.
  2. CamelCamelCamel is a great site to track prices on Amazon when you are not in a hurry to purchase the product. Copy paste the Amazon product url into CamelCamelCamel and create a price trigger based on the product’s price history. If it’s a new product, they might not have a history but you can still create an alert.

Without further ado, here is the full list (thanks to our family and friends whose recommendations by email/messages and word of mouth helped build this):
